Multi-level security system

The physical security of the data centre areas is a high priority for us.

All data centres at the Düsseldorf site are protected by a multi-level security system. This starts with the complete fencing of the site with barbed wire and ends with the securing of racks and cages with innovative locking systems.

Access to the data centres is generally only possible for authorised persons with access control. Access to the data centre by unauthorised persons is only possible after approval by authorised persons.

All relevant areas of the data centre are monitored and ensured by camera surveillance. The recordings from the video system are archived. In addition, a burglar alarm system secures all buildings.

In the event of an incident, the alarm is signalled both internally and to two independent security companies via their own independent lines.

24/7 video surveillance

Both the data centres and the entire site are monitored 24 hours a day by our video cameras. This ensures that only authorised persons are on the premises.

No location information

There are no signs on the building indicating the location of the data centres. This increases the security of the site and does not give unauthorised people any information about the use of the building.

24/7 property surveillance

The entire building is permanently monitored by trained staff and also by an external security service, which is informed about the security system.

Recorded access system

Each person must register using the access system with a card reader. Every access is therefore recorded and documented. It is always possible to see how many people are in the data centre at any time.

Cages and racks with access system

Unwanted access by third party to your infrastructure is prevented at all times, as all cages and racks in the respective data centres are secured by an additional locking system.

Authorised access

The authorisation for access to the data centre can be aligned to the respective requirements. You can define an individual group of people who will have access to your infrastructure.
