1. privacy policy
We are pleased to welcome you as a visitor to our website. In our privacy policy, we would like to inform you about the handling of your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Person responsible
In our Imprint, we name the body responsible for the data collection and processing described below.
Usage data
Every time you access our website, i.e. every time you access or attempt to access a file on this server, data is stored in a log file.
In detail, the following data record is stored for each retrieval:
- IP address
- Name of the retrieved file
- Date and time of the retrieval
- Amount of data transferred
- Message as to whether the retrieval was successful
- Message as to why a retrieval may have failed
- Operating system and browser software of your computer
- Screen resolution
- Browser language
- Color depth
- Browser plug-ins (JavaScript, Flash Player, Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat Reader etc.)
- Website from which you are visiting us
The data is evaluated for statistical purposes by us and by our service providers using standard website analysis procedures in order to continuously improve our offering. You remain anonymous as an individual user. Older entries in the log file are deleted regularly.
We cannot trace which user has accessed which data. We also do not attempt to collect this information. The IP address is stored for reasons of data security in order to ensure the stability and operational security of our system.
External links
In order to be able to offer you a comprehensive service, we refer you to other websites on our site. Furthermore, you will occasionally be forwarded to product information from offers on our website directly to the manufacturer or partner. We expressly emphasize that our employees or other persons involved in this website have no influence whatsoever on the design and content of the linked pages.
We assume no responsibility for third-party content made available for use via links and do not adopt their content as our own. The provider of the linked website is solely liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and for damages resulting from the use or non-use of the information.
Our data protection notice only applies to our website. Please observe the data protection provisions and notes on the linked pages.
Plug-ins (videos, buttons, etc.)
We use third-party plug-ins on our website (social media buttons, videos, web players). We do not collect, process or use any personal data in this context.
Third-party providers are:
- Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA)
- Twitter (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA)
- YouTube (Google Inc. („Google“), als YouTube-Betreiber Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)
- Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. CA 94043, USA)
Plug-ins are program extensions that are integrated into our websites and serve as interfaces to third-party providers.
The plug-ins used on our websites are implemented with the help of a two-stage solution:
Our plug-ins are initially deactivated and do not initially establish any contact with the servers of the third-party platforms. Only when you click on the buttons (buttons or images) do they become active and establish a connection between your end device and the corresponding third-party network platform. You can then activate the function of the plug-in with a second click (share web content, play videos, start the music player). You can recognize the plug-ins by the corresponding third-party provider logo:
- Facebook (white letter "f" on a blue background)
- Twitter (white bird on blue background)
- Youtube (Play symbol on a white background)
- Google (Large "G" on a white background)
By activating the plug-ins, the operators of the network platforms (third-party providers) receive at least information about you:
- the IP address of your end device
- the visit to our website
If you are logged into your third-party user account at the same time as activating the plug-in, the third-party provider can assign the visit to our website to your user account.
We would like to point out that we, as the website provider, do not transmit any of your personal data to the third-party provider. Communication takes place exclusively between your end device and the third-party provider's systems. We have no possibility of influencing or knowledge of the content of the data transmitted between your end device and the operators of the network platforms (third-party providers) and their processing by the third-party providers. The purpose and scope of further data processing by the respective platform operator as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the data protection notices of the third-party providers listed above via the links to the privacy policies provided by the respective third-party providers.
2. Data transfer to third parties
As part of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, we transfer data to service providers who support us in the provision of websites, our services, the operation of our infrastructure in the data center and the associated processes. These service providers are strictly bound by our instructions and contractually obligated accordingly.
We work with the following service providers as part of the services listed:
Data center operation: myLOC managed IT AG and Interoute Germany GmbH in Düsseldorf
Data transfer to third countries
In some cases, we transfer some personal data to a third country outside the European Union. We make every effort to ensure an appropriate level of data protection:
When data is collected by Google Analytics (USA), an appropriate level of data protection is provided by the provider itself and from the corresponding participation in the Privacy Shield Agreement (Art. 45 para. 1 GDPR).
3. Cookies
We use cookies on our internet portals and websites. A cookie is a small text file that can be stored and read on your end device. This can also be your end device, such as a smartphone, a tablet PC or a laptop PC. There are different types of so-called "cookies":
On the one hand, there are so-called "session cookies", which are deleted again as soon as you close the browser on your end device, and so-called "permanent cookies", which are stored during your visit (beyond the individual session) to the websites.
Cookies can be used to recognize the device used by the visitor. In some cases, it is necessary to use cookies that only contain information on certain settings. These are not personally identifiable.
We would also like to optimize our websites in the interest of user guidance, e.g. by improving the presentation in terms of layout and structure. For this purpose, we use functional cookies, the processing of which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
As a visitor to our website, you have the option of making settings in your browser that inform you about the placement of cookies. This gives you a transparent insight into the use of cookies. If you wish to prevent the use of cookies, you should make the necessary settings in your preferred browser. This means that cookies cannot be set again. We also recommend that you delete your browser cache at regular intervals - please select the "Delete cookies" option in your browser settings.
In rare cases, cookies are also used for the provision of browser-based software solutions such as Software-as-a-Service (SAAS). Please contact your provider to find out whether and which cookies are used. If the function of a SAAS solution is restricted or content is not displayed optimally, this may be due to the respective use of cookies in your browser.
4. Trackingtools
Google AdWords Conversion
As an AdWords customer, we use Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service of Google Inc. to evaluate our own advertising campaigns on the Internet. If you have reached our website via one of our advertisements in Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. This "conversion cookie" helps us to recognize whether you have clicked on an ad to reach one of our websites. As an Adwords customer, we receive a cookie that is only assigned to our company.
By using Google Adwords, we do not receive any information with which a user can be personally identified. We only receive information about the total number of users who clicked on an advertisement and were then redirected to a website with a conversion tracking tag. Based on this information, which Google creates with the help of this conversion cookie, Adwords customers can assess and evaluate the success (conversion tracking) of their advertisement.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. An objection is possible by rejecting the data processing by setting a cookie. In order not to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this by generally deactivating the automatic setting of cookies in your browser settings. You can also deactivate cookies for Google's conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com".
5. Facebook Remarketing/Retargeting Pixel

When you visit this website, a direct connection can be established between your browser and the Facebook server via this remarketing tag. It is therefore possible for Facebook to receive information that you have visited this website with your IP address. It is possible for Facebook to assign you as a visitor to this website to your user account. Facebook uses the information obtained in this way to offer you, for example, the display of advertisements within Facebook. We expressly point out that, as the operator of this website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Please refer to the latest information on data protection from Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.
